Dear tumblr,
You might be wondering what the hell is going on. First, let me assure you that everything is super with me, my daddy, and us together. We are as happy as can be, and I couldn’t ask for a better daddy.
Speaking of my daddy — tumblr deleted his account (likeabikeseat) because apparently, he posted something (we’re still not sure what) that violated the TOS. After a couple of frustrating hours, he decided to look on the bright side and create a new tumblr. You can find him here. I think it’s a much more current view into who and what he is. He would love to rebuild his followers and his dash — so please spread the word.
Seeing his new tumblr, I began thinking again about what to do with littlegirlyone. You see, I invented littlegirlyone when I was a 25-year old grad student on blogger. Now I’m a 31-year old professional with a mostly-abandoned wordpress. I keep telling myself I’ll come back and start writing again, and maybe I will, but I’m not sure it will be as littlegirlyone.
As many of you may already know, my daddy and I started switching roles over a year ago. As a result, I have grown into the other side of me (the confident, domme side) and left many characteristically “little girl” things behind. It’s not that I am completely disowning the little inside me — she’s there, and she probably always will be. But that identity doesn’t feel whollly authentic to who I am and how my daddy and I relate anymore.
I’m not a domme like superior femme — at least not with him. I’m also not a little girl all the time (though I still call him daddy no matter what dynamic we’re in, and even in restaurants). I’m a Marilyn Monroe/Veruca Salt/Lena Dunham (not to be confused with Hannah Horvath) hybrid. And of course, I am none of those things, and I am myself. In any event, littlegirlyone doesn’t encapsulate my identity anymore, or the way my daddy feels about me.
I still haven’t decided what to do with my wordpress — I may start another one, or I may have moved on from the anonymous sex blogger phase of my life. But seeing my daddy’s new tumblr, and the way it embraces the person he is now (as opposed to the person he was when I met him) made me want the same for myself.
So I changed my old tumblr into a new one. You can now find me at keptgirl.tumblr.com. I used my old account to do it, so I kept all of my littlegirlyone followers and my whole history of posts. If you followed my littlegirlyone tumblr, you don’t have to do a thing. You’re still following me — the “keptgirl” on your dash is me. If you’re new, I invite you to follow keptgirl, and maybe one or two of the tumblrs I (still) share with my daddy.
Thanks for your support in my newest metamorphosis.

Dear tumblr,
